I had the pleasure of having Jacklyn Suiskens-Ooteman as my very first facepainter instructor. Since the very first day, her enthusiasm caught my eye. She is very professional, patient and generous. She can be very strict as well. I remember I forgot to paint the nose of my skull during my exam and although that “little thing” did not make me fail the short 5 weeks/15 hours basic course, helped me to understand that details count . I cannot thank Jacklyn enough. Because of her generosity (I believe she saw a talent in me), she introduced me to a children event company who hired me on the basis of the designs I made during her lessons and later perfect them on my own. Up to date, that company is still one of my recurrent clients. If I would need to summarize how I remember Jacklyn the most, I would say this word: practice, practice, practice! Wise word I still apply. Only by practicing we do become better in whatever we do..
